There are seasons in life that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, for example changing jobs, moving house or having a baby. And there are also seasons when there doesn’t seem to be a particular major event or cause, and yet we start the day feeling overwhelmed and snowed under, bogged down by our day-to-day juggle and discontent with how our week looks and feels. We feel stressed, and we feel tired.
It may be that you feel this way, and that you are unsure where or how to focus your time and energy to make things better. You feel cluttered in your mind and often in reactive mode, and you long to be able to press pause, reassess what’s important to you and get back into the driver’s seat. Taking that pause to regain your sense of balance and purpose is what Life in Balance is all about.
How Life in Balance can help you
Life in Balance gives you breathing space to clear your mind and re-discover what matters most to you in your life and for your future.
You will have the opportunity to explore what a balanced life will look like for you, and to connect at a deep level with how you will feel when you get there.
We will find out together in more depth what has happened along the way that has left you feeling overwhelmed, reactive and cluttered, and the kind of thought-patterns and habits that may have contributed to how you are feeling.
I will then give you the structure, accountability and insight you need to make changes in your life that will open the way to regaining your balance and reconnecting with your sense of purpose.
We will explore strategies for managing your time and for nurturing a positive mental attitude every day, all designed to help you maintain and enrich a balance that will help you feel refreshed and re-energised.
As a result of this transformative process, you will have the opportunity to feel what it’s like to get back in the driver’s seat, waking up each morning feeling clear and purposeful about the way ahead.
What to expect in a session
Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place in-person or online.
During each session we will use a blend of discussion, reflective tools and exercises to help you gain deeper insight into your goals, values and aspirations.
To see real transformation take place you will need to set aside a small amount of time each week outside of sessions to continue your insight and learning. This will help you to embed each of the changes you make, and to gain important insights about your thought processes during the week.
At times I may invite you to work creatively, using art, objects and movement to gain insight into your values and ways of thinking, which will help bring energy and depth to your process.
We will review regularly to ensure we are working together towards your goals for coaching, and we will both sign a written Working Agreement that describes what we can expect from each other throughout the coaching relationship.
I am committed to the AC Global Code of Ethics which outlines best practice in coaching, including maintaining confidentiality, data protection, on-going learning and development and required supervision to practise.
Location
The coaching space is a peaceful cabin with privacy and calm to help you connect with how you are feeling.
10 minutes walk from Shepperton Station and Shepperton High Street.
Free parking directly outside, and riverside cafés nearby if you want to reflect and relax before or after the session.

Cancellations
Up to four cancelled sessions per year are not charged for. This offers flexibility around illness and unforeseen circumstances.
